Memory verse:

- 1Cor. 2:9.
Love is identified in scriptures as the strongest force on the earth, and also the greatest force SOS 7:6; 1Cor. 13:13. No wonder love is the only force on the earth that can never fail 1Cor. 13:8. Therefore, when a believer is rooted and grounded in his love for God, he is translated from the terrestrial into the celestial realm Eph. 3:17-19. In essence, the love of God at work in a believer will turn him from an non-entity to a celebrity like a dream of the night. Remember, the love of God is not a gift that we wait for it to be imparted on us, rather it is a decision and choice each believer has to make Mat. 6:24. This choice will be ascertained by appropriate and expected action 1Jn. 3:18.
The scriptural proofs of love for God.
- God and the interest of His kingdom is the priority for living.
Whatever a man loves will be the most important and the first thing in his thoughts and life. In essence, the love of God is authenticated by making God and the interest of His kingdom the priority of one’s life Mat. 6:33.
- Passion for God and His kingdom.
Passion can be defined as overwhelming emotion that makes one to be under the influence and total control of what one love. When a believer truly loves God, he will be passionate towards God and the affairs of His kingdom like Elijah 1Kgs. 19:10,14; 2Kgs. 2:12.
- Being a God and kingdom addict.
Love is identified in scriptures as being stronger than death SOS 8:6. In essence, true love for God shows in the fear of God rather than fear of death, which will make the believer a ‘God fanatics’ or addict 1Jn. 4:18.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize me afresh with the Spirit of love, thereby ignite a fresh fire of the love of God on my life Rms. 8:39.
Action.
Make the decision to stand for God and pursue His kingdom at all cost and to the end.
