Memory verse:

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

  • 1Cor. 2:9.

The love of God is the greatest spiritual virtue in God’s kingdom 1Cor. 12:31; 13:13. Remember, every man’s placement and lifting in life is a function of the virtue he carries Pro. 18:16. This is why the believer that has the love of God established in his life is guaranteed supernatural lifting to the top in life 1Cor. 2:9; Rms. 8:28. The love of God and the interest of His kingdom is not what is imparted on the believer, but a choice each one has to make Jn. 21:15-17; Jos. 24:15. It is a choice that goes with definite responsibilities to will validate it, but no one that makes the choice ever regret it.

The scriptural proofs of love for God.

  1. Giving God one’s heart.

The heart of a man is the greatest seed one can give to God, and it is the best that God desire Pro. 23:26. It is the proof of our genuine love for God, because until the heart is given nothing is given Mat. 6:21.

  • Giving towards the advancement of God’s kingdom.

David was identified in scriptures as an addicted lover of God; God called him a man after His heart 1Chr. 13:14; 28:4. David has the trait of generous giving towards the advancement of God’s kingdom, which validates his love for God 1Kgs. 8:17; 1Chr. 29:3.

  • Rearing an altar of sacrifice.

A sacrifice is what the believer gives to God that places a great or dare cost on his life 1Sam. 24:24. Love makes nothing to be too costly to give to the one that is loved. When a believer loves God, it will become natural to see the individual rear an altar of sacrifice again and again 1Kgs. 3:3-5; Psa. 50:5-7; Php. 4:15-19.
