A revival is when there is a move of God or visitation in the midst of men Acts 2:1-6. From scriptures, we understand that every visitation of God moves the lives of the concerned people forward and changes their story positively Psa. 65:9-10. May 2^nd 2015 launched us as a commission into a season of revival, when God told His servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, “I the God of wonder double is visiting you”. Therefore, we are in a revival! It is highly important that every one of us understand and acknowledge this. Not to know one’s time of divine visitation puts the people at the risk of devastation Lk. 19:41-44. Also, we must understand that engagement in kingdom advancement endeavors is the responsibility to profit from a revival 2Chr. 15:12-15; Mat. 6:33.

What are the ways of engaging in a revival?

1. Engagement in witnessing Christ to the lost.

The hallmark of a revival is the massive salvation of souls into the God’s kingdom Acts 2:1-4,41; 4:4. But the unbeliever can only become saved as they are opportune to have someone preach to them Rms. 10:14-15. Every child of God is called to be an ambassador of Christ, with the responsibility to reconcile the lost back to God 2Cor. 5:17-20. In essence, soul winning is every believer’s responsibility Jn. 15:1-2,8,16. It is as believers do this that we will have the massive salvation of the lost into the kingdom, which validates a revival. The good news is that the task of soul winning places the believer on God’s payroll, which delivers from hardship and struggles in life Jn. 4:35-36; Jms. 5:7.

It is revival time! We must take advantage of the season for our change of story in life. Therefore, every believer must make the commitment to kingdom advancement endeavor a lifestyle henceforth Mat. 6:33.

Jesus is Lord!

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for tireless kingdom advancement engagement; thereby positioning me for the full delivery of the glory of this season Acts 1:8.

Review your soul winning strategy, and repackage for a greater result this year.
