Memory verse:

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest”

“And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.”

  • Jn. 4:35-36.

The scriptures make us to understand that we are in a season of revival, being the midst of the year Hab. 3:1-2. But our level of understanding is vital to make the most of every privileged opportunity in God’s kingdom Psa. 119:144; Mat. 13:23. From scriptures, we understand that what a planting season is to a farmer is what a revival season is to us as believers. In essence, a revival season is a spiritually demanding season that sets the pace for what becomes of the believer Hag. 2:3-4,9. There are diverse opportunities of engagement that gives room for every believer to be a part of a revival season.

The opportunities of engagement in a revival.

  1. A place on the altar of prayer.

Every revival is stirred and sustained on the altar of prayer Hab. 3:1-2; Lev. 6:12-13. One of the hallmarks of a revival is the influx of multitudes into the church and massive salvation of souls into God’s kingdom. These two are deliverable through the labor room of prayer Isa. 66:7-8; Psa. 2:8. Also, it is through the prayer altar that we secure the establishment of new converts in the faith and the church Lk. 11:21-22; Gal. 4:10; Col. 4:12. Remember, engaging in the labor of prayer is the responsibility of every believer Lk. 18:1-2; 1Ths. 5:17. In essence, every believer who cares has a place in a revival through engagement on the altar of prayer.
