Every believer need first to be aware, acknowledge and appreciate the truth that we are in a revival. This is very important because being ignorant of an on-going revival makes a believer to be at the risk of devastation Lk. 19:41-44. A revival can be defined as a season of the move of God in the midst of His people Zph. 3:15,17. We need to understand that when God appears and moves among men, among other things, every shame on the people’s lives are turned to glory Zph. 3:17-19. Therefore, a revival is ordained for the change of story of believers, but it is to the believer that is participating in the revival. The demand for participation in a revival is engagement in kingdom advancement endeavor Mat. 6:33.

What are the ways of engaging in a revival?

1. Engagement in the follow-up of new converts to the point of establishment.

God did not instruct the believer to make just converts for Him, but disciples who will walk in His principles that He has taught Mat. 28:19-20. After the unsaved becomes born again, there is the need to keep in touch with the new convert in such a way to see him abide in the faith, the church, and not fall back into the old life Jn. 15:16. Following up is a vital way to ensure this that will make our fruits to abide. This involves ‘purposeful visit’; checking on the converts over and again essentially to encourage them to remain in the faith and be steadfast in the church. Follow up is an expression of love to the convert, which is one thing every man will always respond to in life. One of the requirements in follow-up is to make materials for their establishment available to them 1Tim. 3:15; 1Pet. 2:2.

It is revival time; it is the believer’s moment of glory Jn. 12:23-25. All that we need is to give ourselves to the demand of the season, which has we have shown from scriptures is commitment to kingdom advancement endeavors.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for tireless kingdom advancement engagement; thereby positioning me for the full delivery of the glory of this season Acts 1:8.

Action.

Get your team on the field, go after souls that for Christ and prepare them for the cell meeting on Saturday and service in church on Sunday.
