A revival is a move of God that rescues God’s people from age-long bondages, culminating in their supernatural change of story Hab. 3:2-6,17-19; Zph. 3:17-20. Remember, a revival season is a highly demanding time with great work on the believer Hag. 1:13-14. For the labor demand in a revival season, the believer needs the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in order to maximize the season Acts 1:8. Also remember, the most profitable venture on the earth that the scriptures identify is engagement in kingdom advancement 1Tim. 4:7-8. Therefore, no believer should be an onlooker in the on-going revival, but go all the way to engage in the labor demand to be a full partaker of the glory.

What are the Opportunities a Revival presents?

1. A place for compelling people to come to church.

The scriptures instruct that the believer has to compel people to the church Lk. 14:23. This involves applying some measure of force to ensure that we get people to follow us to the church, to hear God’s word and have the privilege of meeting with Christ. We do this by providing means of getting to church, and coming at church service time to take them to the church Lk. 15:4-5. Also, it is done by continuous reminder about church service time through phone calls, SMS, and physical visitation Mk. 10:46-47. Challenged people are compelled by having some to carry them; in the same manner the paralytic man was carried to meet Jesus Mk. 2:1-5. When we are involved in compelling people to the church, we have become entitled for divine intervention in life Eph. 6:8; Psa, 41:1-3.

The middle of the year is described in scriptures as a season of revival Hab. 3:2. And this is June and July with 5 months before and after. I charge you to make the most of this month.

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit to fully engage in this on-going revival, resulting in the full delivery of the rewards of the season in my life Eph. 6:19.
