A revival is when the Spirit of God is poured out on the people thus making their heart to pant after God and the things of His kingdom 1Kgs. 18:38-39; Acts 8:5-8. We understand from the scriptures that a revival season is a spiritually demanding season. Just like the planting season is to the farmer, is what a revival season is to the believer Hag. 2:3-9. The basic demand of revival is the advancement of the kingdom, and scriptures show that engagement in kingdom advancement endeavor is the most profitable venture on the earth 1Tim. 4:7-8; Mat. 6:33. Therefore, we are in a most profitable season for every believer that will care to engage in the on-going revival.

What are the Opportunities a Revival presents?

1. A place for soul winning.

The hallmark of every revival is the massive salvation of souls into God’s kingdom. When the Holy Spirit was poured on the day of Pentecost, the effect was the salvation of 3,000 souls the same day and many more after Acts 2:37,41. But for souls to be saved there must be those who go to preach to them Rms. 10:14. We understand from scriptures that every believer is ordained for this; soul winning is every believer’s responsibility Jn. 15:1-2,16. This is because redemption made every believer an ambassador of Christ with the duty of reconciling men to God 2Cor. 5:18-20. The good news is that everyone reaping and gathering fruit into the kingdom gets on God’s payroll Jn. 4:35-36.

We are in a revival; every true believer must come alive to this and be committed to the demands of the moment. This revival shall not pass you by.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit to fully engage in this on-going revival, resulting in the full delivery of the rewards of the season in my life Eph. 6:19.

Review your soul winning outreach, set goals for the on-going operation and launch out immediately.
