The scriptures make us to understand that the end-time is a great time for the church of Christ, and doom for the world Joel 2:1-8; Isa. 60:1-3. While the world will be going through untold pain, gloom and doom, it will be great boom for the church and the saints Mal. 3:17-18; 4:1-2. This is what will cause the attraction to the church, with influx of great multitude that will turn the end-time church to a city without walls Isa. 2:2-3; Zch. 2:4. One thing that the power of darkness cannot stand is the growth of the church, because it means increase of light in the world Mat. 5:13-14. The growth of the church will hence be heavily resisted by the powers of darkness, but scriptures assures that the church will prevail Mat. 16:18. Faith is the church’s victory over all Satan’s assaults, and it has to be deployed on the prayer altar for it to deliver 1Jn. 5:4; Mk. 11:24. This is what we call the prayer of faith Jms. 5:15.

Understanding faith and how it works to make Prayer deliver.

1. Faith is engaging the integrity of the word the altar of prayer.

Scriptures make us to understand that the word of God cannot fail; every word of God is guaranteed to come to pass Isa. 5:10-11; Mat. 24:35. When we demand on the prayer altar for whatever the word of God says, we are engaging the integrity of the word of God. This is faith in action, and is bound to deliver result.

• Faith is first built, then the believer can approach the prayer altar.

One way that the believer can build faith is through revelation from God’s word Rms. 10:17. Revelation from the word of God can be invoked through prayer and fasting Isa. 58:6,8; Psa. 119:18.

• It is faith-filled demand that stirs church growth.

Until the church makes demand with the faith that has been built up, there will be no effect of the faith in the physical. But when faith is released to work on the prayer altar, the effect is the supernatural growth of the church Jms. 1:6-7; Isa. 66:7-8.

Father in the name of Jesus, help our faith thereby enable us take delivery of the prophetic agenda of influx of multitudes into the church henceforth Mk. 9:24.

Engage in prayer today for the revelation of God’s word that will ignite your faith afresh on your desires.
