Memory verse:   

“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”

• Jms. 5:15.

We are in defining time on the earth referred to as the end-time. The church of Christ of this time is ordained to be a church of multitude Isa. 2:2-3; Mic. 4:1-3. Among others, the reason is because the end-time prophetically is a perilous time, when wickedness shall sporadically multiply 2Tim. 3:1; Dan. 12:10. But God designed that the saints shall be basking in supernatural glory in the midst of the peril Joel 2:1-2; Isa. 60:1-2. The scriptures make us to understand that the glory of the saints is in the growth of the church Jer. 30:19. This means, for the end-time saints to experience glory in the midst of the peril, they must commit to the supernatural growth of the end-time church. The vital responsibility is engagement in the prayer of faith, by which every resistance of the gates of hell to the growth of the church is silenced Eph. 6:16; Jms. 5:15.

What is the prayer of faith and how to engage in it?

1. The prayer of faith is engaging God’s capacity for delivery through the altar of prayer.

We understand from scriptures that the believer can invoke the ability and capacity of God, and deploy same into his affairs to deliver same dimension of result like God. This is by engaging faith on the altar of prayer Mk. 11:23-24; Mk. 17:20-21.

• Faith must be generated first to truly and effectively engage in the prayer of faith.

One way the believer can generate faith is by accessing the deep things of God through the altar of prayer and fasting Isa. 58:8,10; Jer. 33:3.

• The prayer of faith engenders travail on the altar of prayer.

The scriptures make us to understand that when the saints travail on the prayer altar, supernatural church growth will be the outcome.

As the church of Christ respond to the demand of this end-time, which essentially is commitment to engaging the prayer of faith, the church will be turned into kingdoms and nations, And the saints shall emerge as lights to the world Zch. 8:20-23.

Father in the name of Jesus, pour upon us the Spirit of grace and supplication afresh, thereby cause your church to experience the influx of multitude henceforth Zch. 12:10.
