New birth brings the believer into the kingdom of blessings, ordained to make life great and glorious Gal. 3:13-14; Pro. 10:22. Many that are born again are yet struggling because of ignorance of how to access the blessing of God for the saints Isa. 5:13. A vital way to access God’s blessing is engaging the prayer altar Heb. 4:16. The prayer altar is recognized as the altar of blessing Gen. 32:24-26; 1Chr. 4:9-10. But to maximize the altar of prayer, Jesus’ instruction is that we make kingdom advancement prayer the priority Mat. 6:9-10; Lk. 11:1-2. This is where many miss it; their prayer life is essentially on the myriad of needs in their life. This approach often makes the believer struggle in the place of prayer.

1. Transforms believers.

One fundamental blessing of engagement on the prayer altar is that the believer is transformed Exo. 34:28-30; Lk. 9:28-29,35. Remember, until there is change in an individual, there cannot be change in his situation and circumstance. It is first a change within that result in change without Mat. 23:26. As we behold the face of God on the altar of prayer, our person is transformed into His realm of glory 2Cor. 3:18. And the result is the transformation of every shame in the believer’s life to glory.  

Everyone needs transformation; whatever is the state or status of the individual, there is a level called better. The believer that desires to step into this better state simply need to commit to the altar of prayer, be consistent and tireless at it and his transformation will become an open reality Mat. 6:6,17-18.
