Memory verse:   

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and

 more unto the perfect day.”

• Pro. 4:18.

We serve the God of new things, who takes delight in doing new things in the lives of His children Isa. 42:8-9; 43:18-19. In essence, the believer is ordained by redemption for new things, which will result in the believer experiencing next levels every time Pro. 4:18. This is why the believer is not permitted to be stagnated, stranded or frustrated in life. But the believer needs to understand the covenant demand to experience the new things and next levels. From scriptures, thanksgiving is the covenant force to the new things and levels God designed for the believer Psa. 92:1-2.10-15.

How thanksgiving empowers the believer access to his next levels.

1. When we celebrate God, we invoke God for our breakthrough Hab. 3:17-19.

Every life is faced with challenges, obstacles and oppositions1Chr. 16:9. The believer that will experience new things and move to the next levels must understand how to get the oppositions, obstacles and challenges out of his path. Also, the believer is ordained to be stronger than any challenge, opposition and obstacle in life. Thanksgiving is the covenant force that makes the believer to be stronger in life and to handle the challenges, oppositions and obstacles. In thanksgiving, the believer invokes God into his situation, and God’s presence makes the believer stronger than whatever challenge or opposition Psa. 22:3; 1Jn. 4:4. With God’s presence created by the thanksgiving of the believer, oppositions and obstacles give way to the believer of themselves. This result is next levels of breakthroughs Jer. 30:19-21.

Scriptures make us to understand that a disregard for what God’s hand has done, makes the believer to suffer devastation Psa. 28:5; Dan. 4:30-33. In essence, thanksgiving prevent believer from experiencing devastation, at the same time empowers for next levels breakthrough.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, the spirit of heaviness is cursed in my life now, and celebration of God and His acts become my lifestyle thereby launching me into my new levels by each day from today Isa. 61:3.

Action.

Do an appraisal of your life, and list out all that the hand of God has done till date this year.
