Memory verse:
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” – Isa. 43:18-19.
Many believers somehow have come to think he must do some ‘hard’ things before he can access the blessings of God. It is true there are demands to kingdom blessings, but we understand that the gospel that states those demands of the kingdom is simple 2Cor. 11:3. Many believers miss it at this point, because the scriptural demands for access to kingdom provisions are often too simple to be true. For instance, we have established that giving thanks is the guarantee for stepping into next levels of experience in the kingdom Lk. 17:15-19.
Understanding the mystery of thanksgiving.
- Thanksgiving empowers the believer for next levels of victory.
The scriptures make us to understand that we live in a world of battles Eph. 6:12-13. New birth does not exclude the believer from the battles of life; rather it positions the believer for victory 1Tim. 6:12. But thanksgiving is the believer’s gateway to our next levels of victory in life 2Sam. 5:18-20,25-26.
- Thanksgiving approves the believer for next levels of blessings.
Our God is the God of all blessings; in essence, He has ever blessing man’s life will need with Him. And He is committed to release the blessings on His children as we become qualified for it Eph. 1:3. When our thanksgiving goes to God from a true heart, we have committed Him to confirm our next levels of blessings Jer. 30:19,21; 2Chr. 16:9.
