The kingdom life is a most enviable one; Jesus exemplified this when the bible recorded that two of John the Baptist disciples came to see where He lived and chose to stay with Him. One of them went to bring his brother to Jesus after Jn. 1:37-42. There is how the new life in Christ is to be lived to experience the abundant life. From scriptures, we understand that stewardship is the way to this kingdom order of life Job 36:11. In essence, serving God and the interest of His kingdom is the kingdom way to experience the enviable life on the earth Exo. 23:25; Pro. 10:22.
Kingdom service is of different dimensions or forms, and they deliver different levels of blessing. The best and highest in profit and reward delivery is spiritual stewardship 1Tim. 4:7-8. Therefore, every believer that desires the enviable life of the kingdom must be given to spiritual stewardship as a lifestyle. Our teachings this week has been on the various ways to engage in spiritual stewardship. I know this week shall launch you into a new realm of glorious experience in life.
Different Ways of Engaging in Spiritual Stewardship.
- Inviting new people to church.
Inviting new people and bringing them to church is one way that the believer engages in spiritual service Jn. 10:16; Lk. 14:16-23. God is honored in the multitude of people, when we bring multitude into the church to meet with Christ and worship God, we are serving the interest of God Pro. 14:28; Jn. 15:8. Someone might say that he cannot preach to people, or does not know enough scriptures to go winning souls. But everyone can engage in simple invitation of people to the church, where they have the privilege of hearing God’s word and making the decision for Christ thereafter Jn. 1:41-46; Rms. 10:14. Therefore, no one is wasting his time serving the Lord; one is only investing into one’s future with the guarantee of reward that makes life enviable.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, and by your Spirit empower me for effective and fruitful engagement in spiritual stewardship from today Acts 1:8.
Action.
Set a target for yourself on the number of new people to take to church next Sunday, then get on the field inviting people to meet your target.
Priestly Blessings.
Everyone that you speak to about Christ and invite to church for this Sunday shall respond to you!
As you engage in this spiritual service, your life shall come under open heaven henceforth!
