Memory verse:
“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;”
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”
- Rms. 12:11-12.
The scriptures make us to understand that life on the earth is governed by the law of seedtime and harvest Gen. 8:22. In essence, individuals under God is responsible for the outcome of his life on the earth, and this is by taking required responsibility to become whatever one desire in life. One responsibility that is fundamental for man’s total wellbeing in life is to serve God Exo. 23:25-27. It impacts on all aspects of man’s life, both here on earth and hereafter 1Tim. 4:7-8. Serving God is what we refer to as spiritual stewardship. It is a choice individuals have to make and it is the choice of the wise, which guarantees a great life.
The Various Ways of Engaging in Spiritual Stewardship.
- Winning the unsaved for Christ.
This is what we popularly call evangelism, outreach or soul winning. It is a commandment of scripture to all believers Mat. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15-16. In essence, every believer is ordained a soul winner Jn. 15:16; 2Cor. 5:17-20. The Holy Spirit was release essentially to empower the believer to be a fruitful and effective soul winner Acts 1:8. The good news is that soul winning is a spiritual goldmine, with no other engagement that compare to it in profit delivery Mat. 16:26. But we must understand that we are only rewarded for results obtained and not for efforts we make Pro. 11:30; 3:35; Dan. 12:3. Therefore, the choice to commit to soul winning is the jack-pot of life that will bring out the giant out of any believer.
