Redemption brought the believer into a most profitable life, where he is designed to enjoy the abundance of all things Deu. 8:7-9; Jn. 10:10. But the scriptures make us to understand that serving God is the vital responsibility of the believer to experience this profitable life Deu. 28:47. In essence, serving God is not just a mere religious activity or hobby, it is a big-time kingdom business Lk. 2:49; Rms 12:11.

Understanding the ways to engage in profitable kingdom service.

Many believers have equated much activity in church to serving God, this has led to the frustrating experience many have Lk. 10:40-42. What are the scriptural certified ways to serve God with the guarantee of profitable life?

1. We serve God by bringing people to church.

Every activity that will be admitted indeed as service to God must lead to the advancement of God’s kingdom by getting the lost saved, and established as disciples of Christ Lk. 15:7,10. Bringing people to church is one way we do this Lk. 14;16-23; Jn. 10:16. This affords the people the privilege of hearing the gospel, with the opportunity to make a decision for Christ Rms. 10:13-14. One may not be equipped yet to preach Christ, but there is no one that is not capable of inviting people to church Jn. 1:40-42.

 

In conclusion, one is not wasting his time going about inviting people to church. It is the certified way to serve God and create a profitable future Mal. 3:17-18.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive fresh release of grace for steadfastness in kingdom service to my point of profit Zch. 4:7.

Action.

Make the choice to always have a new person to take to church every Sunday from now, and be committed.
