Memory verse:     

“When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:” 

“But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.”

• Lk. 11:21-22.

The scriptures make us to understand that the will of God is the salvation of all men 1Tim. 2:4; 2Pet. 3:9. In essence, God wants all men to be saved, enjoy the fullness of life on the earth, and eventually eternity with Him. Remember that God needs man to do anything on the earth, and this task of getting men saved is a vital one for every believer Ezk. 22:30; Jn. 15:16. But the salvation of the lost will not come cheap; there are great oppositions by the power of darkness against men getting saved Lk.11:21-22; 1Cor. 16:9. Therefore, soul winning is warfare! The Holy Spirit is out to teach our hands on how to engage in this warfare, bring down the oppositions and take the spoil of unsaved men from the kingdom of darkness Psa. 18:34; 144:1.

How to war to see souls saved.

1. Understand that soul winning is warfare.

Our understanding of a thing will determine our approach and ultimate outcome in any venture in life. To do well in soul winning, we must see it as warfare, and not a play-fare Lk. 11:11-22; Mat. 11:12.

• See Satan as the personality against the salvation of unsaved men.

Whatever is the excuse the unsaved use to evade renouncing sin and accept Christ are fads. The truth is that the devil has his blindfold on him, he is not seeing what you are showing, hence can’t appreciate it 2Cor. 4:4. The blindfold of Satan must be taken off the mind of the unsaved, to see them answer to salvation.

• Engage the believer’s power and authority to tear the veil.

Every believer who accepts the responsibility for soul winning is given power and authority over devils Lk. 9:1; Mat. 10:1. This power and authority must be consciously engaged against the devil, to tear off his veil on the unsaved. When we do, we will begin to see great number of souls get saved, follow us to church and abide in God.

Soul winning is warfare but the war has been won by Christ for us. We only need to deploy good understanding and our spiritual arsenal to command result at it.

Father in the name of Jesus, I declare every veil of the devil on every contact on our harvest field is torn off now, thereby making everyone I speak to this week to respond to Christ and follow me to church Job 22:28.
