Memory verse:   

 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.”

• Mat. 13:44.

The scriptures make us to understand that the soul of man has greater worth than the wealth of the entire world put together Mat. 16:26; Mk. 8:36-37; Lk. 9:25. This is one of the few issues the three gospels documented, which shows that it is fundamental and of utmost attention. Therefore, the soul of man is God’s treasure on the earth 2Cor. 4:6-7; Gen. 2:7. The believer is therefore instructed by scriptures to go after acquiring souls for God with all that he is and have, by so doing he is engaging in the kingdom business Mat. 13:44. This is what Jesus was referring to when He said ‘I must be about my Father’s business’ Lk. 2:49; Jn. 9:4. Kingdom business delivers incomparable profits to physical business 1Tim. 4:7-8.

The Worth of Soul Winning that makes it a Treasure.

1. Soul winning makes a star of a believer.

From scriptures we understand that every dedicated soul winner supernaturally ends up a star Dan. 12:3. It does not matter the background of the believer, soul winning will bring out the star in him. This was the case with Apostle Paul Rms. 1:16; Php. 1:21; 2Pet. 3:15.

• Soul winning confers divine honor on believers.

The scriptures make us to understand that the more of souls into the kingdom, the more God is glorified Jn. 15:8; Pro. 14:28. The more we bring glory to God, the more of God’s glory the believer enjoys in return 1Sam. 2:30.

• Soul winning secures a crown for us in heaven.

Jesus’ twelve disciples engaged essentially in reaching out to souls Mk. 3:14. Later Jesus said the reward for their commitment is a throne with crown in eternity with Him Lk. 22:28-30. Paul the addicted soul winner also said that he is sure of his crown when he gets to heaven 2Tim. 4:6-8.

Therefore, every soul winner is guaranteed a destiny of glory and greatness here on earth and hereafter. No believer that ever commits to soul winner end up with regrets.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, deliver me from everything that makes we weak and lazy at soul winning, thereby turning me to an sharp instrument for effective harvest of souls into the kingdom from now Isa. 41:15.
