Memory verse:   

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,”

The scriptures make us to understand that life on the earth is a race, which is run individually Heb. 12:1-2. Every man is in this race whether he is conscious of it or not, and how we run is what determines our experience here on earth and hereafter. Anyone with this understanding will have a determined approach to life 1Cor. 9:26-27.

Scriptural understanding for running the race of life.

1. Every vision demands a run for delivery.

Vision is the unfolding of God’s plan and purpose for each life; this is what defines the race and how to run it Hab. 2:1-3. Each one must receive from God the vision for his life, and run to deliver it.

2. Life is a race and it answers to committed runners.

To run here connote to accept the responsibilities required to accomplish God’s expectations 1Cor. 9:24-25. Excuses often are indicators of not accepting responsibility.

The scriptures make us to understand that the core responsibility for every man that desires a fulfilled life is serving God or kingdom stewardship Job 36:11; Lk. 22:25-27.

Returns on spiritual stewardship.

1. Supernatural strength.

Serving God in soul winning makes for joyful life, and joy engenders strength Lk. 10:17; Neh. 8:10.

2. Emergence as a giant.

Serving God is a guaranteed pathway to greatness in life Lk. 22:25-27; Dan. 12:3.

 

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit for tireless commitment to serving God and the advancement of His kingdom Acts 1:8.

Action.

Refuse all excuses for not being able to win souls and get them into the church.
