Memory verse:

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and

from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will

 shew thee:”

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make

thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:“

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:

and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

“So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went

with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”

  • Gen. 12. 1-4.

We have established from scriptures that God created life on the earth in times and seasons Gen. 1:14-16; Eccl. 3:1-8. An understanding of this is vital to make the most of our life on the earth. Every time and season is ordained for a divine purpose, when this is understood and accomplished life becomes glorious and fulfilling Eccl. 3:11; 1Chr. 12:32. The key to this fulfillment is in our timely response to the demand the time and season will place on us Jn. 5:1-5. Often, the response of some believers to divine times and seasons is delayed, which makes what they do to produce little or no effect on their lives. And sometimes the delayed response results in adverse effect on the believers’ life SOS 5:2-7.

The Power in Prompt Obedience.

  1. Promptness has the capacity to open new doors.

The example of Elijah shows this clearly. He responded prompt to divine instruction and this opened a new chapter to his ministry 1Kgs. 19:15-19. Every time and season has new instruction from God to His people, and every instruction from God is an opportunity to access new open doors and new levels Deu. 28:1. Therefore, when we jump at every demand of a season, we make new doors to open to us in life.

In this season of revival, one area we need to be spontaneous is on the prayer altar Rms. 12:11-12. This is in praying all manner of prayers towards church growth.
