Memory verse:

“Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,”

“ Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:”

  • Heb. 3:7-8.

We serve the God of times and seasons; it is aligning to God’s plan and purpose for each season and time that makes for a glorious life Ecc. 3:1-2; 11. What we need in life therefore is the understanding of God’s plan and purpose for time, and to pursue the same for full delivery Hab. 2:1-3. Furthermore, it is not enough to do what God has ordained for the time, how we respond matters a lot to whether our obedience will be profitable or not SOS 5:2-7. This is where I think some believers are getting it wrong, because they do what God says but fail to see any positive change in their lives.

How to respond to every divine vision and instruction for profit.

  1. Our response must be prompt to entitle us for profits.

Elijah responded prompt to divine instruction, his life and ministry was opened up to a new phase of glory 1Kgs. 19:15-19. When God gives an instruction or delivers a vision, the blessing attached is tied to time Jn. 13:27. Therefore, when our response is unduly delayed, though we did what was demanded but we may not see the blessing.

  • Our response must be spontaneous for it to command profit.

Everyone in scriptures who walked with God profitably was always spontaneous in their response to God’s instruction Rms. 12:11-12. Nehemiah is a vivid example, ho spontaneous responded in prayer when he heard about the dilapidated stat of Jerusalem, and he had a sudden and dramatic change of his status Neh. 1:1-11; 2:1-8; 5:14.

We have a divine privilege in the on-going Operation Hit your target Lk. 5:3-8. God has made His plan and purpose for the moment known to us, with the blessing of dramatic change of story when maximized. All that we need is to respond prompt to the demands of the season.
