PRAYING TO GET RESULT 10012023 PT. 2.

Memory verse:

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

“Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?”

“Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?”

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

  • Mat. 7:7-11.

The scriptures all over give the believer this assurance that every time he approaches God to make a demand for anything, he has the guarantee of answer and to receive his demand Mat. 7:7-8; Jn. 14:13-14. God is committed by covenant to give to His children every good thing they demand from Him in prayer Pro. 3:27-28. This is one thing the believer has that gives him an edge in life; the understanding that he is only at a prayer distance from whatever good thing he desires in life. But we need to understand how to command answer in prayer always, because it is not all believers who pray that receive answer.

Covenant requirements to enjoy answer in prayer always.

  1. Engage in revelation-driven prayer.

Revelation is the spiritual understanding of God’s word, which enables the believer to correctly apply the word to generate his desired result Psa. 119:130; Jn. 1:1-4. From scriptures, we understand that our prayer has guarantee of answer from God when we ask according to what God says in His word 1Jn. 5:14-15. In essence, the prayer that will command answer is the one that we remind God of His word on the issue of concern Isa. 43:26; 41:21; 38:1-5. Therefore, for the believer to enjoy answer in prayer, he needs the understanding of the word on the issue of concern, and this means praying with the revelation God’s word.
