Memory verse:   

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” 

“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

“Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?”

The scriptures make us to understand that we serve a prayer answering God Mat. 7:7-11. Our God takes delight in answering every one that comes to Him, and His joy is to give to every man every good thing of life Psa. 84:11. Particularly, the believer by redemption is ordained for answer to every of His prayers from the Lord Jn. 14:13-14. We need to have this understanding of our God resounding in us to maximize our privilege on the prayer platform Psa. 82:5; Pro. 21:16. But there are certain covenant requirements that will make our prayer to secure answer any time, any day. It is when these are out of place that a believer suffers prayer failure Ecc. 10:15. What are these factors?

Covenant requirements to enjoy answer in prayer always.

1. Engage in prayer with forgiven sin.

Sin is behind the dis-connectivity of the believer in prayer, and a major reason for lack of answer in prayer Psa. 66:18-19. Sin hinders the believer’s voice from being heard by God, and until God hears, He cannot answer Isa. 59:1-2; Hab. 1:13. Therefore, to have answer in prayer our sin must be forgiven by God. The forgiveness of our sin must not be assumed, it must be genuinely sought for by confessing and forsaking them Psa. 51:10-12; Pro. 28:13. When we do, God forgives us of every sin, and writes off everything as if we never did them 1Jn. 1:9-10. Then, we become entitled for answer to our prayers.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, by the help of the Holy Spirit I shall fulfill the demands for answered prayer from now, thereby empowering me to command answer when I prayer henceforth Heb. 4:16.

Go before God today to consciously seek for the forgiveness of your sin, error, mistakes.
