The end-time church of Christ is ordained to take over the earth, with multitudes getting converted and drafted into the kingdom and established in the church Isa. 2:2-3; Mic. 4:1-3. But the scriptures make us to understand that the growth of the church will not happen automatically because God ordained it. It will only happen as the believers accept the responsibility to enforce it on the altar of prayer and fasting Isa. 66:7-8. From scriptures and all through history, we found that only praying churches are growing churches. Also, every growing church must keep at praying to keep growing. This establishes the truth that prayer and fasting form the life-wire of every growing church.

The Power of Prayer in Effecting Church Growth.

1. The prayer room is the birth place of multitudes into the kingdom.

Church growth is by the salvation of souls and their establishment in the kingdom and the church Acts 2:47. This means the Spirit of God birthing more souls is what brings growth into the church Jn. 3:5-6; 1cor. 12:3. The labor room of prayer is the place of engaging the Holy Spirit for the birth of souls from the world of sin into life eternal Acts 6:4,7; Isa. 66:7-8. Prayer is akin to lifted hands 1Tim. 2:8. And as long as our hands are lifted like Moses, our soul winning efforts will be taking territories for Christ Exo. 17:12.

• Prayer and fasting destroys all forces against church growth.

The growth of the church is faced with stiff opposition by the forces of the darkness Mat. 16:18; Eph. 6:12. These forces must be silenced for the church to experience growth. The altar of prayer and fasting is the guarantee to silence all the forces that resist the growth of the church. Isa. 58:6.

The church is ordained by God for unstoppable growth, but it will take the believers investment into prayer to experience the growth. And what cannot stop the church from praying cannot stop the church from growing.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the Spirit of grace and supplication to maximize this prophetic season thereby take full delivery of my 4-quantum change Zch. 12:10.

Action.

Make the decision to engage minimum of 1-hour per day in kingdom advancement prayer. This is could be at a stretch or in segmented sessions.
