Memory verse:

“God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.”

“Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.”

“For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.”

  • Psa. 47:5-7.

Praise is definitely one kingdom weapon that guarantees the triumph of the believer and the delivery of every promise of God in the believer’s life Hab. 3:17-19. We understand from scriptures that every force of the kingdom is triggered at the instant of praise, and every power of darkness is silenced at the same time Psa. 114:1-8. But just like every other thing in the kingdom, praise will only deliver to the extent of our understanding of this kingdom force Psa. 119:144. We need the understanding of what to expect in praise, why we should praise, how to praise to command result etc. A good understanding empowers the believer for committed engagement that will make for generation of result.

What happens in the midst of praise?

  1. Prison doors open, bounds are loosed, and we are set free.

Whenever praise goes forth from the believer, God comes down Psa. 22:3. The presence of God results in the following; all doors open of their own accord, every satanic bound is loosed, and the freedom of the believer is instantly established Acts 16:25-30; Psa. 24:7-10.

  • God takes over our battles and our victory becomes automatic.

When praise goes forth from the believer, God comes down into his situation Psa. 22:3. And among other things, God takes over whatever is the battle confronting the believer 2Chr. 20:14,17,22-24. When God takes over a battle, the victory of the believer is guaranteed, no matter how fierce the battle has been Psa. 68:1-2.

Therefore, the believer can praise his way out of every valley of life into his high places Hab. 3:17-19. But for praise to deliver these results, it must be from a heart full of joy, rejoicing and gratitude Jms. 5:13; Psa. 67:3-7.
