Memory verse:
“Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.”
“Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.”
“God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”
Psa. 67:5-7.
There is nothing that makes life sweet as seeing one’s desire become a reality Pro. 13:12.
And the scripture has promised that every desire and expectation of the believer is ordained to become a reality Pro. 24:14; 23:18. But the believer needs to accept personal responsibility for it. Praise is the guaranteed covenant responsibility that will make every desire to be turned into a reality for any believer Psa. 67:5-7.
What is in praise that makes it turn desires to reality?
- It opens the prison doors to the believer.
When our praise goes up, prison doors give way Acts 16:25-30. In essence, bonds are loosed and everything standing on the path of the believer from obtaining his desires is cleared off. Hence, the same things that did not work before is what the believer is doing but producing desired result.
- It makes God to take over our battles.
Life is a battle field, and these battles are essentially spiritual Eph. 6:12. When our praise goes up, God takes over our battles and our victory becomes automatic 2Chr. 20:14,17,22-24. Our victory is essential to experience good report in life, and praise will invoke God to fight on our behalf for our guaranteed victory.
In essence, the believer can praise his way out of any valley in life to his ordained high places Hab. 3:17-19. But we must remember that praise must come from the heart of joy to be effective Isa. 29:13.
