- Psa. 67:5-7.
We serve the God of turnaround, who has ordained His children for continuous turnaround in life Ezk. 21:27. To experience the turnaround in reality, we need to understand the way to it Ecc. 10:15. From scriptures, we understand that the power of thanksgiving and praise is the force that guarantees turnaround no matter the situation Hab. 3:17-19. But our depth of understanding is what will determine the effectiveness of praise in our lives Mat. 13:23. Therefore, the scriptures instructs that our praise must be with understanding Psa. 47:7. Basic among this is the understanding of what to expect in praise. We must also remember that praise must come from a heart of joy for it to work Jms. 5:13.
How does praise effect turnaround in believer’s life.
- Praise empowers to conquer the fiercest battles.
Praise releases God into the believer’s situation, and by this the ability of God is at work on the behalf of the believer Exo. 15:11. Therefore, without shooting an arrow, the believer begins to experience victory in battles 2Chr. 20:17,22-25.
- Praise empowers to bring down the walls of Jericho standing in his path.
There are always the walls of Jericho that stand in the path of every believer to his promised land Jos. 6:1-2. They are satanic operations aimed to prevent the believer from stepping into his promised land. With praise, the walls are brought down supernaturally as we saw in the case of Israelite Jos. 6:3-5,20; Psa. 47:5.
In essence, every believer can praise his way out of every siege of misfortune into favor Isa. 63:3; Est. 5:1-6; Acts 2:47.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me by the Holy Spirit for the lifestyle of praise from today Acts 2:4,11.
Action.
Fill your life with only thanksgiving and praise the remaining days of the year!
Priestly Blessings.
You shall see great wonders of God in the days left this year!
By your praise, every work of the enemy shall be turned to you for celebration!
