Memory verse:

“Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.”

“Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us”

“God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”

  • Psa. 67:5-7.

The scriptures make us to understand that praise is a spiritual tool for making things to happen Psa. 67:5-7; Acts 16:25-27. The fundamental thing that happens when we praise God is that an atmosphere for God’s habitation is created, thereby bringing God’s active presence into the scene Psa. 22:3. This active presence of God is at the root of all the things that happens in the midst of praise and the secret to the power of praise Psa. 16:11. But for praise to be effective, we must engage in it with good understanding, and it must come from a heart filled with joy and gladness Psa. 47:7; Jms. 5:13.

How does praise effect turnaround in believer’s life.

  1. When our praise goes up, every barrier on the path of our glorious destiny clears out.

God’s presence is the answer to all barriers in life Psa. 114:1-8. And praise will always secure the manifestation of the presence of God in the believer’s life Psa. 22:3; 47:5. Therefore, when the praise of a believer goes up, every barrier gives way Psa. 47:1-4.

  • When our praise goes up, every enemy against our life is silenced.

Every time praise goes forth from the believer God’s presence is made manifest, all that buy and sell in the life of the believer are flushed out Mat. 21:9-12. This brings an end to the activities of the enemies in the believer’s life Mat. 21:16; Psa. 8:2.

The believer therefore can praise his way out of every form of shame and reproach into glory and honor Psa. 50:23; 1Sam. 2:30. No believer should therefore be helpless in life.
