Memory verse:
“Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.”
“Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us”
“God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”
- Psa. 67:5-7.
Praise is not an entertainment or a way of having spiritual fun, rather praise is a spiritual tool designed to make things happen Psa. 67:5-7. The effectiveness of every tool is a function of the understanding of each person on the use of it, and what to expect when appropriately put to use. The same applies to praise; our understanding on how to praise and what happens when we praise is vital for it to deliver maximally Psa. 47:7. One thing that is guaranteed is that when the believer engages in true praise, things change in his life and around him Hab. 3:17-19; Acts 16:25-27.
How does praise effect turnaround in believer’s life.
- When our praise goes up, everlasting mountains and perpetual hills standing on our way are leveled out.
From scriptures, we understand that there are diverse obstacles and hurdles in the path of every believer to his promised land Hab. 3:4-6. In praise we invoke the manifestation of God’s presence that causes those mountains and hills to clear off, to grant access into our promised land Psa. 114:1-8.
- When our praise goes up, the voice of God comes clear to us.
Every time we engage in praise, we create the atmosphere to hear the voice of God clearly Isa. 30:29-30. In essence, praise grants the believer access to the voice of God, which is the key to supernatural breakthroughs in life Psa. 23:1-4; 32:8.
We can therefore say that the believer can praise his way out of every stagnation and limitations into breakthroughs in life Hab. 3:17-19. The believer can also praise his way out of every sickness to health and wholeness Isa. 38:19-20,5.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me by the Holy Spirit for the lifestyle of praise from today Acts 2:4,11.
Action.
Turn every request to thanksgiving and praise the remaining days of this year.
Priestly Blessings.
As you praise God, you shall end this year well!
Whatever stands as a mountain shall turn to your breakthrough before the year end!
