Memory verse:
“And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.” – Exo. 3:8.
God’s kingdom to which new birth initiates the believer guarantees the greatness of every member Gen. 12:2-3; Gal. 3:29. We come into the kingdom as mere individuals, but are raised to greatness in the kingdom. But we must understand what it takes to rise into greatness in the kingdom and subscribe to it Ecc. 10:15. We see clearly from scriptures that every great story in the kingdom is a product of divine encounter with God Gen. 6:5-8,13-18; Lk. 5:3-8. The good news is that Shiloh 2023 is a mountain of encounter with God; we must be spiritually set to experience our encounter.
Learning from those who had encounters with God in scriptures.
- Encounter with God often is through His word.
Every genuine encounter with God in scriptures is often through His word 1Sam. 3:21. This opens a new chapter to the life of the believer en. 12:1-4; Isa. 51:1-3.
- One encounter with God turned Abraham to a generational blessing.
It was an encounter that made Abraham into a global and trans-generational blessing Gen. 22:1-5,16-18; Gal. 3:13-14. In essence, one true encounter is all a believer needs in life.
- Spiritual sensitivity and focus is required for an encounter with God.
We need to be spiritually sensitive and focused to experience encounter with God 2Kgs. 2:9-10,12. Distraction is an enemy of encounter with God 1Kgs. 20:40.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, Shiloh 2023 shall be my mountain of encounter with God, that will make me to return with a new name from God 1Sam. 3:21.
Action.
Identify the sources of distraction to you at Shiloh, and take of them now.
