Memory verse:   

“And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.”

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.”                               Lk. 5:3-4.

God’s kingdom is a kingdom that make giants out of mere men Mat. 5:13-14. In essence, when an individual chooses to become born again, he has simply enrolled to be made a giant in life 2Cor. 5:17. But the scriptures show us that the kingdom way to make giants is encounters with God Gen. 12:1-3. Therefore, every believer that shall emerge a giant must pursue after encounters with God.

Helps to experience divine encounters in this ongoing Post-resurrection season.

1. Understand that an encounter with God turned Isaac to the envy of strong nations.

Isaac had only an encounter with God to emerge in greatness that he became the envy of the world power of his days Gen. 26:1-14,16-30. In essence, a believer does not need more than an encounter for his life to turn into greatness.

2. Understand that an encounter with God was the secret to Solomon’s greatness.

Solomon had one encounter with God that turned him into the wisest king of his time 1Kgs. 3:3-13; 4:29-34. One encounter is enough to change a man’s story.

3. Divine encounters places demand on the believer.

Every encounter with God is at a cost on the believer; it will place certain demands on the believer Gen. 22:1-5,16-18. When we give ourselves to the demand, we qualify for the encounter.

4. Passion for kingdom interest is a vital demand for divine encounter.

Passion for the interest of God’s kingdom means to have a burning desire to see God’s kingdom farewell and enlarge. This was what positioned Moses for encounter with God Exo. 2:11-12; 3:1-10.

Jesus is Lord!

Father in the name of Jesus, by you grace I am experiencing encounters with you in this Post-resurrection season Psa. 34:5.

Action.

Make the choice not be content until you see Christ take over your neighborhood.
