“My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.”
Every man has absolute responsibility over his life; this essentially is by taking charge over his time Psa. 90:12. Time is the only asset God gave to man with which he will determine his outcome on the earth. The righteous God gave this only asset of time equally to all man, which is 24 hours in a day. We need to understand that the only thing the devil is after is our time. He wants to have control over the time of man by filling our time with his plan, so the scriptures say the days are evil Eph. 5:16. Every great man have leant to invest their his time for God and the interest of His kingdom 1Cor. 6:20; Psa. 31:15.
Scriptural examples of giants made by making their time available to God.
Nehemiah was a captive in Babylon, privileged to be the cupbearer in the palace Neh. 1:1; 2:1. Despite this privilege position, he still had time to seek after the interest of Jerusalem and the wellbeing of God’s people Neh. 1:2-4. Nehemiah could not stand the news of the deplorable state of Jerusalem and the suffering of God’s people, he went into a fast for weeks in spite of his official duties Neh. 1:4-11. Nehemiah as it were took his life in his hand, confronted the king for restoration of Jerusalem and the king granted him his desires Neh. 2:1-9. From a cup bearer, he ended up as a governor of Judah Neh. 4:23; 5:14.
Jesus is Lord!
Father, in the name of Jesus, endue me by your Spirit with grace for tireless pursuit of you and kingdom advancement, thereby empowering me to rise as a kingdom giant Zch. 4:7.
