We have established from scriptures that time is the basic asset God gave man, with which he determines what becomes of his life on the earth by how he uses it Eph. 5:16; Col. 4:5. Time is the asset equally given to every man, 24 hours in a day. How we use our time shows the state of our heart Psa. 90:12. The heart of man defines his life and the experiences he will have Pro. 4:23; Mat. 12:34-35. The scriptures also teach us that the way to make the most of our time is to invest it in the pursuit of God and the interest of His kingdom Mat. 6:33. This is the secret of everyone in scriptures that rose to become a giant.

Examples of giants in scriptures made through the right use of their time.

1. The example of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

These are three Hebrew teenage boys; Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were taken as captives along with Daniel and other Jewish teenagers of the royal family to Babylon by king Nebuchadnezzar Dan. 1:1-6. King Nebuchadnezzar wanted to make the teenage Jews he took captive to adopt the lifestyle of Babylon, and this essentially is influencing the way they use their time daily. These three Hebrew boys did not, they made the choice to remain addicted to God Dan. 1:11-17. This decision of the three Hebrew boys made them to become distinguished and honored in life Dan. 1:20-21; 3:14-28. We must have time for God to make the most of our lives SOS 8:6. Everyone that has time for God is sure to make great marks on the earth Psa. 75:6-7.

Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit to make the most of my time in using it for only expedients from today 1Cor. 6:12.
