ONE CANNOT HAVE A HEART FOR GOD AND NOT HAVE TIME FOR HIM 120623 PT. 1.

Memory verse:

“My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.”

  • Pro. 23:26.

The scriptures make us to understand that time is the fundamental determinant of the outcome of every man on the earth Ecc. 9:11. Also it is an asset equally given to everyone, 24 hours per day, while some invest it others squander it. The believer is instructed in scriptures to make the most of his times, because it is key to realizing his glorious destiny Psa. 90:12. This is why the devil’s target in man’s life is his time; once the devil can take over the time of an individual he has control over his life. We have to win the war over our time to fulfill our destiny and become who God ordained us to be in life Eph. 5:16; Col. 4:5. The devil’s contest over our time either by luring us to spend it on sin or lawful things Mat. 7:22-23; 1Cor. 6:12. Every kingdom giant were men that had command over there time, by using it productively for God.

Examples of giants in scriptures made through the right use of their time.

  1. Abraham.

Abraham today is scripturally recognized as the father of all of us who are in Christ Gal. 3:13-14,29. The scriptures identified him as a friend of God, a prophet and a God confidant Isa. 41:8; Gen. 20:7; 18:17-21. But Abraham was a ‘business emperor’ of his days, not an ordained priest or ‘ordained prophet’. How then did he rise to become the kingdom giant we now identify him to be in scriptures? It was in the way he used his time; Abraham would suspend his schedule to obey any commandment from the Lord irrespective of how demanding or impromptu it might be Gen. 17:9-23; 22:1-18. This was a demonstration of his heart absolutely going for God, which made for his supernatural lifting in life Gen. 24:1; Gal. 3:13-14. One cannot have a heart for God and not make great marks on the earth.
