OBEDIENCE SPEAKS LOUDER THAN VOICE PT. 4.

Memory verse:

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the

voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee

on high above all nations of the earth:”

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou

shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”

  • Deut. 28:1-2.

The scriptures make us to understand that every blessing of God that will answer in a believer’s life is in response to his obedience Deut. 28:1-13. In essence, a believer does not need to pray for God’s blessing, he simply needs to know the instruction of God for the blessing he desires and obey it Jms. 1:25. The average believer today is ignorant of the covenant demands for what he desires; this is the reason for the much struggle in the place of blessing. Often, the church has not helped the situation because we ask such believers “have you prayed” instead of what he is doing in comparison to what the scriptures command to do.

God’s servant Bishop David Oyedepo has said, “Obedience may be costly but the end result is priceless”. We shall again be getting into scriptures to study the basic understanding that will empower us for an obedient lifestyle. I am convinced the light of God shall shine into your heart in a new way today. Be blessed.

Scriptural Understanding on the Laws of God’s kingdom and our Obedience.

  1. Obedience will always invoke the presence of God, which is the master key to a world of noiseless breakthrough Jn. 14:21-23; Deut. 28:1-13.

Every time a believer obeys the instruction of God on anything, God spontaneously respond to work in the life of that obedient believer. In essence, getting God to work can be very easy simply by obedience to his instruction. From scriptures, we know that God at work in a life is the master key open doors, and breakthroughs Psa. 114:1-8.

The scriptural case of the widow of Zarephath gives credence to this truth 1Kgs. 17:8-15. Contrary to natural principle and the ideology of men concerning her situation, she obeyed a divine instruction through the prophet and she brought herself into the realms of supernatural supplies in the time of famine.

Scriptures show us that God has not and does not change Mal. 3:6. In essence, when the believer of today chooses to obey God, he will experience God in the same way like the widow of Zarephath. Obedience to God’s commandment is a guaranteed gateway to having all needs in life met Duet. 28:1-13.
