Memory verse:

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the

voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee

on high above all nations of the earth:”

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou

shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”

  • Deut. 28:1-2.

God’s kingdom to which we belong is a kingdom of blessings Acts 3:26; Gal. 3:13-14. Scriptures make us to understand that this blessing is all that man needs to make the most of his life on the earth Pro. 10:22; Gen. 1:28. Struggles and failure in life is because of lack of the blessing of God on a life. The guaranteed way to the blessing of God is by obedience that comes from the heart Deut. 28:1-13. Many of God’s children go about with much activity trying to make God pleased with them, and release His blessing on their lives. They got it wrong; they simply need to live in obedience.

We have been looking into scriptures this week, exploring the understanding from God’s word that will empower the believer for the life of obedience. The truth is that obedience can be very costly, but the reward it brings is incomparable to the cost Gen. 22:1-5,16-18.

Scriptural Understanding on the Laws of God’s kingdom and our Obedience.

  1. Obedience is a virtue with unquantifiable value, which can only be experienced through practice Gen. 12:1-4; 22:15-18.

In essence, no one will ever know what is in obedience until he takes steps of obedience. When we have this truth established in us, we will never be intimidated by the demands that any instruction places on us, our focus should be on the blessing that will come after we have obeyed. And this is what will empower our obedience no matter the situation.

We can see a vivid example in scriptures at the Jericho, with the Israelite standing before the gigantic wall helpless Jos. 6:1-20. As they simply obeyed the instruction of God, which appeared insane in the situation, the massive walls of Jericho gave way to them without them lifting any finger.

We learn from scriptures that every act of obedience does not make us more religious, rather it opens a new chapter to our life Gen. 12:1-4. And the resultant effect is unstoppable advancement for the obedient believer. Therefore, every one that is obedient to the demand of the on-going Operation By Al Means should be ready for amazing rewards that will open him up to a new world of glory.
