Memory verse:
“So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.”
“And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.”
“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
- Lk. 14:21-23.
Church growth is the will of God, ordained by God to be unstoppable by the forces of hell Mat. 16:18. This places responsibility on the believer, because no church grows without a people on the go. ‘A people on the go’ means commitment to going to where the unsaved are located to witness Jesus or offer compelling invitation for people to come and meet with Christ Jn. 15:16; 4:29,39. Church growth is a partnership between God and the believer 1Cor. 3:6. When the believer’s part is in place, God’s part is guaranteed. And a core of the believer’s part is being on the go.
How to be effective being on the go?
- Come and see commitment.
This is reaching to the unsaved to show them what Jesus has done, thereby getting them interested to come to partake of what Jesus can do Jn. 1:40-42,45-49; 4:29,39.
- Prayer commitment.
Every growing church must be a praying church, for the efforts in our going to be effective and productive Ezk. 36:37; Psa. 2:8.
- Passion for souls.
Passion is what it takes to remain on the go both in season and out of season Jn. 2:17; 4:32-36; 2Tim. 4:2. Passion is an over-riding love to see souls turned from their sinful life to follow Christ.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, and by your Spirit empower me for fruitful outreach from now Jn. 15:16.
Action.
Make or renew your commitment to church growth; either in prayer or being on the go.
Priestly Blessings.
I decree the release of grace on you to be on the go tirelessly from today!
By the help of the Holy Spirit you shall be supernaturally fruitful this season!
