“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

We need a good understanding of the season, the appointed weeks of the harvest, for us to us to make the most of the moment Psa. 119:144. If not, we may begin to see it as a scam or game by the leadership of the church to build a big church for their personal benefit. What is it about this harvest season? It is an appointed time when God has prepared great harvest, for each believer to go and bring into the kingdom Jer. 5:24; Jn. 4:35-36. Really, there is no time that souls (harvest) cannot be won for Christ, but there are certain seasons when God makes the heart of men ready for salvation. These are the ‘in seasons’ for salvation of souls 2Tim. 4:2. In essence, we are in a season that might not re-occur this year or for some years to come. The season is significant because a soul won for Christ entitles the believer for strange dimension of rewards Mat. 16:26.

Effective ways of being on the go for Christ.

1. Engage relevant marketing strategies.

The believer is a marketer of the gospel Mat. 28:19-20. No product, the quality not withstanding sells without engaging relevant marketing strategy. The gospel is a ‘hot cake’, but for it to sell we need to deploy good and relevant marketing strategy 1Cor. 9:20-22; Acts 6:3-7.

• Engaging the operation of the reaper-angels on the altar of prayer.

Reaper angels are spirit beings ordained to help the believer in reaping the harvest of souls in the world Mat. 13:39. They become relevant especially where it is difficult to get men saved, and getting salvation on a large scale Rev. 14:14-16. It is on the prayer altar that we invoke the ministry of reaper-angels Mat. 26:53.

• It takes love for God to be tireless in going after the unsaved for their salvation.

One thing the devil does is try to weary the believer in obeying God, particularly reaching out to the lost for Christ 2Ths. 3:13; Gal. 6:9. Love for God will keep a believer on the go for Christ, pursuing after souls for their salvation, which will result in the enthronement of the believer 2Tim. 4:6-8; Dan. 12:3.

It is harvest time; we must do everything to reap the fullness of the harvest ordained for the season Jer. 5:14. And we are sure to return with dramatic change of story.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive help of the Holy Spirit to maximize this harvest weeks and fully deliver to your expectation on my life Acts 1:8.

Action.

Get out on the field and believe God for souls to be won for Christ today.
