Memory verse:
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
- Jn. 15:16.
The scriptures make us to understand that there is the week God has appointed for harvest Jer. 5:24. This means there are souls that have been prepared by God for harvest in the appointed time. We only need to believe God, and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us to those individuals for us to harvest them into the kingdom. Further we understand from scriptures that when we are part of reaping the harvest, we are become entitled for wages from God Jn. 4:35-36. While the believer that looks away and refuse to partake of harvesting has programmed shame for himself Pro. 10:5.
Effective ways of being on the go for Christ.
- Understand that we have to go preaching the gospel to the lost before we can see them saved.
From scriptures, we are made to understand that the unsaved can only have be converted and saved as they have the privilege of haring the gospel preached to them Rms. 10:14-17. For them to hear the gospel, the believer must accept to go to them where they are found and preach to them Mk. 16:15-16.
- Engaging the altar of prayer and fasting fervently result in sustained supernatural church growth.
There are the powers of darkness that resist the supernatural growth of the church, until they are over-powered, the church will never experience growth Lk. 11:21-22; Mat. 16:18. It is by engaging the altar of prayer and fasting that we over-power these powers of darkness, and enforce the supernatural growth of the church Mat. 17:21.
- It takes dedication to keep engaging without looking back.
Dedication means being committed to a thing without reservation until it works. The believer needs to be dedicated to the course of going after the unsaved to see them saved, if he will not be discouraged, give up and unproductive at it Lk. 9:62; 1Cor. 9:16-17.
Harvest season is work time, but also reward time Jn. 4:35-36. This appointed weeks of harvest shall a season to be much remembered in our lives Jer. 5:14.
