Memory verse:   

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

The will of God for the church is continuous, unstoppable growth and enlargement Mat. 16:18. God’s will is that every little church grows into a kingdom Lk. 12:32. But we must understand that in the growth of the church, God is the builder while the believers are co-builders 1Cor. 3:9. God is faithful and constant; this makes the growth of the church to depend often on the faithfulness of the believers in their responsibility to see the church grow. First responsibility is prayer, because every aspect of church growth requires payer for delivery Isa. 66:7-8. The second is being on the go witnessing Christ or offering compelling invitation for people to come to church and meet with Christ Jn. 15:16; 4:29,39. This second responsibility is our emphasis.

Effective ways of being on the go for Christ.

1. Understand that someone has to tell another ‘Come and see’ to have new members added to the church.

From scriptures, we understand that even when Christ was on the earth, He became known and attracted the multitude as individuals told others about Him Jn. 1:40-42; 4:29,39. God has not changed, so the same principle will apply to see multitude attracted to His body, the church, today.

• Every growing church must be a praying church.

It is in prayers we make our efforts on the field to be fruitful Jms. 4:2. Until we take possession of the souls on the harvest field first on the prayer altar, our labor in going after them may never yield any result Psa. 2:8; Ezk. 36:37.

• It takes passion to remain on the go, both in and out of season.

The scriptures instruct the believer to be on the go for Christ at all times, in season and out of season 2Tim. 2:4. This connotes whether he feels like doing it and when he does not. But it will take passion in a believer to do this; it is love-driven believer that will be able to get this done Jn. 2:17; 4:32-36.

 This has become very crucial because we are in our weeks of the harvest for the year 2023 Jer. 5:14. Remember, God has an expectation on each of us for the season and His reward for everyone that will be faithful.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive help of the Holy Spirit to maximize this harvest weeks and fully deliver to your expectation on my life Acts 1:8.

Action.

Make the decision to go all the way in these weeks of harvest.
