Memory verse:   

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” 

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

• Mat. 6:9-10.

The scriptures describe the believer as God’s building 1Cor 3:9. Every believer is said to be the temple or house where the Holy Spirit dwells 1Cor. 3:16; 6:19. Therefore, every believer is the house of God or a ‘church’. From scriptures, we are made to understand that the house of God is ordained a house of prayer Mk. 11:17. Therefore, as a house of God every child of God is ordained to be a house of prayer. From Jesus’ teaching, kingdom advancement is to be the focus of prayer Mat. 6:9-10. We can therefore infer that kingdom advancement prayer is what every believer must be involved in or committed to in order to justify his kingdom status.

Helps to make Believer’s Adopt Kingdom Advancement Prayer Lifestyle.

1. Daniel’s example.

The scriptures present Daniel as a public administrator, being the prime minister of Babylon Dan. 2:48; 6:3. Yet, Daniel was recognized as a servant of God by his life of intercession, he prays three times a day Dan. 2:17-18; 6:10. And Daniel rose to great height above all in the kingdom including the king, who bowed to Daniel Dan. 2:46; 6:25-28. In essence, you don’t need to be an ordained priest to adopt this lifestyle.

• Understanding of what to pray for.

The salvation of the unsaved is what matters most to God on the earth Mat. 16:26. This means that seeing men getting saved is the most important matter in God’s kingdom Jn. 3:16. Therefore, when we pray for souls to be saved, we are engaged in kingdom advancement Jn. 16:7-11.

• Kingdom advancement prayer engagement is highly rewarding.

Engagement on the prayer altar in kingdom advancement is doing what God commands, and it entitles the believer for continuous change of levels supernaturally Lk. 19:15-19.

Therefore, kingdom advancement prayer is the pathway to access the glory reserved for the believer.

Father in the name of Jesus, I make the choice for kingdom advancement as my focus in prayer form today, baptize me with the Spirit of grace and supplication to remain commitment for life Zch. 12:10.
