The ground of the earth we live in carries a curse; the effect is struggle and hardship in the life of men Gen. 3:17-19. Take note, it was the ground that was cursed not Adam per say, but the effect is a life of struggle, toiling, and hardship for Adam. This is why favor is a must for everyone who desires a struggle-free and hardship-free life, because favor is the cure for struggle Exo. 3:21; 12:36,40-41. A life without favor will be full of labor characterized with frustration. Jesus our perfect, had to connect to divine favor to function successfully on the earth; He connected very early, no wonder He finished His earthly assignment very early Lk. 2:52.

How to Connect to the Favor of God.

We connect to the favor of God by intreating or invoking it; we don’t wait for favor, it is intreated or invoked Psa. 45:12; Pro. 13:15. This means that every person who desires to experience Gd’s favor on his life must accept the responsibility of invoking it.

Ways to Invoke Favor from God.

  1. Be Born Again and Remain So.

At salvation, the righteousness of Christ is placed on the believer, thereby making him a righteous person as long as he remains in Christ 2Cor. 5:21. By this righteousness, the individual gains access to God’s blessing of favor Psa. 5:12; Eph. 2:8.

  1. Possess a Heart That Pants after God.

Every provision of the kingdom can only be access with the heart, and the right must be right for access to truly be experienced Acts 8:18-21. The right heart for access to the blessing of divine favor is a heart that truly pants after God and the interest of His kingdom Psa. 102:13-15; 35:27; Mat. 6:33. To possess such a heart is by a decision to make God and His kingdom one’s priority in life Lk. 2:49,52.

  1. Stay in Love with God.

The love of God makes a person to enjoy preferential treatment from God, which is what we refer to as favor 1Sam. 13:14; 1Chr. 28:4. Love for God is a choice individuals make, which is authenticated by the action of loving those things that the one we love holds dear Mat. 6:24; 1Jn. 3:18.

  1. Walking in Obedience to God’s Instruction.

Obedience to God is the trigger for divine favor Deu. 28:1-3; Jn. 14:21. This means that when obedience becomes our lifestyle, favor becomes the normal in the life of the individual Deu. 33:23.

  1. Show Favor to Others.

The golden rule on the earth is the law of seed time and harvest, which by implication means that what a man does will determine what he experience in return Gen. 8:22; Gal. 6:7. When showing favor to others become the way of life for a believer, he has moved God to lavish favor all-round his life Eph. 6:8.

Conclusion.

Good messages are nice and essential, but they don’t make for transformation in people’s life. It is the decisions of each person made from what he heard, and taking appropriate steps to match that results in transformation and change of life. This means, everyone who will experience the favor of God on his life from today needs to make decisions in line what God has taught us, and take appropriate steps in line with his decisions.
