Our battle in life is against the powers of darkness Eph. 6:12. These are forces at war with us that we cannot see, and their mission is to prevent God’s purpose from being fulfilled in our lives 1Cor. 16:9; Mat. 13:25.
Scriptural Example – The Israelite in Egypt.
God’s agenda was to have them dwell in Egypt, multiply into a nation, then return them to their land of promise Gen. 15:13-16. We saw how Pharoah and the taskmasters appear as the opposition resisting the fulfillment of God’s agenda for their return to the Promised Land Exo. 3:19. In reality, it was the ‘gods’ of Egypt at work, working behind the scenes to hold Israel in captivity, which caused their stay in Egypt to extended an estray 30 years Exo. 12:40-42. The delay persisted until God brought vengeance upon the gods of Egypt, then Israel could go free Exo. 12:12-13. This means that vengeance is God’s way to silence the activities of the powers of darkness and enforce the delivery of His agenda Ecc. 8:11; Isa. 61:2-3.
Covenant Ways of Invoking Vengeance.
- Be Genuinely Born Again.
When an individual becomes a child of God, vengeance becomes his redemptive right Psa. 7:9-11. This places a verdict of judgment on every force that makes attempts at His life thereafter 2Ths. 1:5-6.
- Place the Demand for Vengeance in Prayer.
Every time believers engage the prayer altar, they are invoking God to vengeance on their behalf against the enemy Lk. 18:7-8. This means that a prayer lifestyle causes believers enjoy automatic vengeance against the wicked.
- Enter the Covenant of Serving God.
Serving God invokes God’s vengeance against the powers of darkness Exo. 4:22-23. The more committed believers are to service, the more they enjoy divine vengeance.
Conclusion.
Expect every power of darkness to come under judgment in your life as you take responsibility to invoke vengeance from now. Expect every bondage, generational curses, sickness, disease, spells, etc. end here today.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, let judgment be executed speedily against everything working against your purpose and agenda for my life 7:26.

Redemption brought believers into the inheritance of God’s family; one of which is fruitfulness (Acts 20:32; Psa. 1:3; 127:3-5). Fruitfulness is vital for every believer for the following reasons among many: God commands it (Gen. 1:28). God frowns at unfruitfulness (Lk. 13:6-9). Fruits define and determine the future (Jn. 15:1-2). Fruitfulness is the heritage of […]
Destiny biblically connotes a pre-determined end or destination for an individual in life. Every child of God is a child of destiny, which means that there is the pre-determined end for every believer on the earth (Eph. 1:11-12). What is the defined end for a believer in life? A Glorious Destiny. Every believer is ordained […]
God’s will for His children is supernatural recovery of all the enemy has destroyed, stolen, and denied his access to in life (1Sam. 30:6-9,17-18). Recovery, among others, includes: time (Eph. 5:16), opportunities (Gen. 12:1; 11:31), redemptive rights, and inheritances in Christ such as health, riches, glory etc. (Rev. 5:12; Jer. 30:17). Interestingly, the Holy Spirit […]
God’s kingdom, to which we belong by redemption, promises life in abundance; one characteristic of this life is all-round rest (Jn. 10:10; Heb. 4:1,9-10). This means that all-round rest is God’s will for every redeemed (Jn. 14:27). Scripture states categorically that God’s kingdom operates on keys; keys here connote revelation for accessing the provisions of […]
