Daniel was a man of prayer, and from his life we learnt that God answered his prayers the moment he prayed Dan, 10:11-14. But the answer was being resisted by the prince of darkness over the nation, from getting across to Daniel Dan. 10:13. Daniel knew that God answers the prayer of the saint. If the answer is not forthcoming, it must be the devil at work and must be cleared off Dan. 10:14. This truth was what enables Daniel to take delivery of answer to his prayer. The believer that lacks the understanding of when our prayer is answered has given room for the devil to steal his answer Jn. 10:10.

Covenant understandings that help us to know when our prayer is answered.

1. Understand what to do for the answer to become delivered in reality.

Often, there is a time lag between when prayer is answered and when the answer is delivered in the physical Eph. 1:3. We must know the covenant thing to do between this time to ensure that we take delivery of the answer to our prayers

• Engage in thanksgiving and praise.

Thanksgiving and praise will facilitate the delivery of the answer to the prayer of believer in the physical Jn. 11:41-42; 1Ths. 5:18; Heb. 10:36. In essence when we pray and we know God has heard and answer, we should go ahead celebrating God for the answer as if we have taken delivery of it. This way we make the answer to be speedy delivered in our hands.

• Don’t stop thanking and praising God.

Everything in the kingdom works by continuity Gal. 6:9. Therefore, our thanksgiving and praise must be continuous, for the answer to be delivered with speed and indeed Rms. 4:18-20.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit in prayer afresh for answer in prayer from today, I will never experience prayer failure again Acts 8:26.

After you have prayed, get into thanksgiving and praise until the answer becomes a physical reality in your life.
