“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

The believer is a joint-heir with Christ in the kingdom, which entitles him to all that Christ enjoys Rms. 8:17. But a heir that is still a child will be under bondage; the childhood stage among others indicate a time of lack of knowledge and understanding Gal. 4:1-3; 1Cor. 14:20. One thing that has robbed believers from experiencing their joint-heir with Christ status is the lack of the understanding of when prayer is answered. When prayer is answered and we don’t know, we may not take delivery as we risk losing it to satanic spirits in the air Dan. 10:12-14.

Covenant understandings that help us to know when our prayer is answered.

1. When we have prayed according to the will of God.

The scriptures make it clear that whenever the believer prays and it is in line with God’s will, God will answer 1Jn. 5:14-15. God’s will is His word; every time our prayer is in line with God’s word, we should know that God has answered.

• When we have prayed in the name of Jesus.

We also understand that whenever we pray as believers using the name of Jesus, God answers Jn. 14:12-14; 16:23-24. In essence, whatever we pray for using the name of Jesus, we should know that God has answered it.

• When we have prayed in faith.

We understand also from the scriptures that whenever we pray in faith, God answers us Mk. 11:24; Jms. 1:6-7. Faith is confidence in God and what He says, which makes the believer to expect and ask in prayer. God will always respond to faith; hence when we pray in faith, we should understand that God has answered.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit in prayer afresh for answer in prayer from today, I will never experience prayer failure again Acts 8:26.

Action.

Ensure when you pray, it is in line with God’s word, you have faith, and you do all in Jesus name.
