Memory verse:

In natural farming, harvest season is a time of joy because there is abundance of things Isa. 9:3. This makes the farmer to forget his labor and sweat by reason of the harvest he brought home. But it is not every farmer that rejoices in harvest, not because of lack of harvest but often for lack of the labor required. Harvest time is labor time, which must be prompt in order not to lose the harvest Pro. 10:5. In essence, labor in the kingdom may be futile when it is not done properly particularly in harvest time. And without result, there won’t be rewards.

What makes the believer’s labor to command rewards in the kingdom.

1. God rewards reapers and not just participants.

God wants to have the souls of every unsaved man reaped into His kingdom, this and nothing else satisfies Him, thereby qualifying the believer for His reward Jn. 4:36. As much as we need to exert effort to see souls saved, but we must understand that God is only interested in saved souls not the effort.

• The number of souls turned to righteousness determines our reward level.

The scriptures state clearly that turning many to righteousness makes God to be glorified, and a star out of the believer Jn. 15:8; Dan. 12:3. In essence, we must labor to have many unsaved won for Christ.

• God does not honor groups, He honors individuals.

From scriptures, God honors men on individual basis by reason the way each believer honors Him 1Sam. 2:30. Winning multitude and gathering them into the church to be established brings honor to God Pro. 14:28. Therefore, let’s labor to win the honor of God as we gather multitude to Him in this harvest season.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to deliver result to expectation thereby qualifying me for God’s reward this from now Isa. 41:10.

Action.

Go after all your converts for the week, ensure they are in church with you tomorrow.
