From scriptures, we understand that our God is a ‘rewarder’ who has reward for everyone that labor for Him Heb. 11:6; Pro. 14:23. It is the reward of God that guarantees the fulfillment of man’s destiny Mat. 19:27-29. We must therefore be reward conscious in our walk with God, which is the guarantee of our access to the fullness of the promised abundant life Jn. 10:10. God’s reward is in response to our labor for God, which essentially is about the advancement of His kingdom Jn. 15:16. Our obedience or disobedience is what defines our level of rewards Mat. 21:28-31.

What makes the believer’s labor to command rewards in the kingdom.

1. Understand that every believer has the ministry of reconciliation.

New birth gets the believer appointed into a ministry, the ministry of reconciling the unsaved back to God 2Cor. 5:17-20. How well we do in this appointment will define the level of God’s reward we are entitled to access and enjoy Jn. 15:16.

• The believer will face diverse trials in the pursuit of this mandate of reconciliation.

The believer will face trials and tests as he goes after reconciling men to God 1Pet. 1:7. Just like in the physical that no one changes class unless he personally writes the prescribed exam and pass it, so it is in the kingdom Gen. 22:1,16-18. The trials are intended to make the believer step into God’s full reward for his life, so embrace them.

• God does not promote groups, He promotes individuals.

Each of us must strive to have personal result. In the midst of the corporate result, ensure that yours is there. This is what identifies you for God’s reward in the midst of the multitude Psa. 75:6-7.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to deliver result to expectation thereby qualifying me for God’s reward this from now Isa. 41:10.

Action.

Get on the field for souls for Christ, and begin to prepare them for Saturday home-cell and Sunday service.
