Memory verse:   

“Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.”

Amos 4:12.

We have established from scriptures that God do visit men, and the visitation of God among men is what we refer to as divine encounter Gen. 50:25. The visitation of God will always result in the dramatic change of the story of man Psa. 65:9-10. But divine visitation requires adequate spiritual preparation for every man that will experience it Amos 4:12; Exo. 19:11-12. This is why everyone need to prepare for Shiloh 2023 in order to experience divine visitation.

How to prepare for divine encounter particularly at Shiloh 2023?

1. We must have a scriptural understanding and perspective of Shiloh.

God gave His servant, Bishop David Oyedepo the instruction of Shiloh as an annual gathering of saints according to Joshua 18:1. Therefore, Shiloh is ordained a prophetic platform for the rise of giants among believers, and particularly the winners’ family Ezk. 37:10-14.

2. We must cultivate the fear of God in us.

One common denominator of every giant in scriptures made through encounter with God is the fear of God Psa. 25:14. Examples are Joseph, Daniel, Job Gen. 42:18; Dan. 1:8,21; Job 1:1-3. The fear of God is to hate evil, which makes one ot run from it Pro. 8:13. This is what we must cultivate as we get set for Shiloh 2023.

3. We must develop ourselves to walk in the Spirit.

From scriptures, we understand that walking in the Spirit is essential to hear the voice of God and experience divine encounter Gal. 5:25; 1Cor. 2:14. Therefore, in getting set for Shiloh 2023 the mountain of God’s voice, we must train ourselves to walk in the Spirit.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit for adequate preparation thereby making Shiloh 2023 to answer fully in my life Acts 8:26.

Appraise your walk with God; make the choice to fear God and walk in the Spirit.
