Memory verse:
“Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.”
Amos 4:12.
The scriptures make us to understand that God do visit men, and this has been the practice of God from the beginning Gen. 3:8. The visitation of God to man is what we call divine encounter; God’s visitation will always culminate in supernatural turnaround of man’s story Gen. 21:1-2. Further, we understand from scriptures that every divine visitation or encounter has to be prepared for if man will not miss it Gen. 28:10-16.
How to prepare for divine encounter particularly at Shiloh 2023?
- Have the good understanding of what Shiloh is.
We must understand that Shiloh is not a church program, but a mountain of answered prayer 1Sam. 1:13-19. It is an appointed place where God has committed Himself to hear His children and deliver their petitions 2Chr. 7:14-15. We must approach Shiloh 2023 with this mentality for a guaranteed encounter.
- We must refuse to hide any iniquity in our heart.
Sin is the barrier that blocks man from experiencing God Isa. 59:1-2; Psa. 66:18. Therefore, if we will not experience any blockage to our ordained encounter, we must open ourselves before the Spirit of God to cleanse us from all iniquity as we get set for Shiloh 2023 Psa. 51:1-3; Isa. 58:7.
- We must be set to hear the voice of God.
No one ever hears God’s voice and remain the same; God’s voice births testimonies Psa. 29:4-9; Isa. 30:29-20. But to hear God’s voice, there is the demand of being set for it; it is a still small voice, which makes men to easily miss it 1Kgs. 19:11-12; Hab. 2:1-2.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit for adequate preparation thereby making Shiloh 2023 to answer fully in my life Acts 8:26.
Action.
Sit with the Holy Spirit, for Him to expose every ‘secret’ sin in you and purge them.
Priestly Blessings.
In the name of Jesus, nothing shall hinder your encounter at Shiloh 2023!
Every moment at Shiloh 2023 shall count in your life!
