• Exo 19:10-11.

Encounter with God is simply the visitation of God to an individual resulting in the turnaround of the story of that person Gen. 21:1,6. Scriptures make us to understand that the visitation of God to His children brings joy to God. This is because God loves to fellowship and interact with man Gen. 3:8.  Every visitation of God is always with lasting memory because of the level of change and transformation it leaves in the life of the individual Psa. 65:9-10.

We have established it from scriptures that every divine visitation requires spiritual preparation Exo. 19:10-11; Amos 4:12. It is lack of adequate preparation that make believers to miss out on encounter with God, and this is why many of God’s children are yet to reflect the beauty of Christianity in their lives. God gave His servant Bishop David Oyedepo the mandate of an annual gathering of the saints called Shiloh, where He has chosen to appear to or visit His people Jos. 18:1-3. We started by looking at how to position ourselves in order to make the most of what Shiloh offer.

How to Maximize the opportunity of Shiloh.

1. Understand that Shiloh is not a convention but a mountain of divine visitation.

God has the right to choose the location for His visitation, and wherever He chooses becomes a special place of divine encounter Gen. 12:1-7. Shiloh by divine mandate is one of such on the earth today Jos. 18:1. This understanding will help us to approach Shiloh in a manner for maximum delivery.

• Sanctification is a requirement for divine visitation.

Sanctification means to be set apart from every other thing unto God alone. It means intense concentration on God’s point of view. In essence, the believer will need to be absolutely disconnected from every other thing, and have his total being focused on God in order to experience divine visitation Exo. 19:10-11; Rev. 1:10. This was what Elisha did to experience the encounter that changed is story forever 2Kgs. 2:10-12.

We must be all out for God alone at this forthcoming Shiloh, and then we are sure to hear His voice that guarantees our desired change of story.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, I choose not to miss your appearance at Shiloh 2021 and I receive the enablement of the Holy Spirit to be adequately prepared Lk. 3:16-17.

Action.

Identify things that may want to disconnect you at Shiloh 2021, take care of them now and be sanctified unto God now.
