• 2Sam. 7:10.

The story of everyone that was made in scriptures without an exception, began with an encounter with God. The word encounter can be simply interpreted as to ‘run into’; therefore encounter with God will mean to ‘run into God’. This presents the understanding of sudden appearance of God in a personal way to an individual. From scriptures, every appearance of God is always with impact that leaves the individual’s life never the same again, and better than before 1Kgs. 3:5-13; Gen. 26:1-14. We have said it that one appearance of God is enough to settle the destiny of an individual forever. In essence, an encounter with God is one thing every man need in life.

There are two basic understanding that are essential in order to have the experience of encounter with God. First is that preparation is a must, and second is that there are locations ordained by God where man can have encounter with Him Amos 4:12; Jer. 18:2-5. The good news is that Shiloh is one of the mountains of encounter with God in our generation! Shiloh is the annual gathering of Winners, with the mandate that God will subdue the land before His people Jos. 18:1-3. What do we expect from Shiloh and how do we prepare for it?

The Significance of Preparation for Encounter with God.

1. Preparation grants access to empowerment to subdue the enemy in the path of destiny.

Every man is confronted by the enemy in the pursuit of destiny. The only thing that the enemy respects and submits to is power Psa. 66:3. Our preparation is the guarantee of access to the power that makes one to subdue the enemy Pro. 16:1. David went through preparation, he got empowered, and the enemy came under him resulting in his ascent to the throne 1Sam. 16:1-13,22; 17:32-37.

• A vital preparation required is to organize for undistracted focus.

In every moment of encounter with God, one vital demand is rapt attention 2Kgs. 2:9-10; Gen. 32:22-24. Often, every encounter demands that one be alone. We must prepare ourselves so that nothing distracts us, this is vital in determining our encounter with God at Shiloh 2021.

Remember, the date for Shiloh 2021 again is December 7 to 14 2021, and it will hold at every of our locations (Living Faith Churches aka Winners; Chapel Int’l) across the globe.

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, everything that may deny me of an encounter at Shiloh 2021 is taken off my life now Psa. 51:7.

Check carefully for what can be a distraction to you in the 5 days of Shiloh, and take care of them now.
